How do I read the newspaper?

To read your paper, simply go to the front yard and click on the newspaper. You'll see a window pop up with all the latest news. The newspaper changes every week (on Monday).

How do I open my mail?

To open your mail, just click on the mailbox. If you have mail, you'll see letters poking out of the mailbox. Click on any of the envelopes in your mailbox to open them and read the message inside. You can send your friends a message back by visiting the KinzPost Office.

Why did my child receive mail from a character in Webkinz Jr.?

Every child has one character on their friends list in Webkinz World. We do this so that everyone feels like they have a friend to write to and get mail from. You can add other Webkinz Jr. hosts to your child's friends list, too!

How do I garden?

You can garden in the spring, summer, or fall. You cannot garden in the winter. When you want to garden, click on the garden in your front yard. Visit the W Shop and buy seeds for any empty spots. When you buy seeds, you'll see them appear in your garden. Use the rake to cover your seeds with dirt. You can see which plants are where by looking at the little picture next to the plant. Water your plants once each day to make them grow! Plants will only grow once per day. When you have got a flower that is fully grown, you can choose to leave it or dig it under and buy more seeds to plant. In the winter, your garden will be covered in snow. Instead of gardening, you can play the snowman activity!

How do we play the snowman activity?

You can play the snowman activity when it's winter in the neighborhood. Just go to your front yard and click on the big pile of snow � it's where your garden used to be. You'll see a window open and you'll be able to build yourself a snowman!

Flora offered to buy my flowers - why?

If you ever have one or more fully grown flowers, there is a chance that Flora the Flower Shop fox will ask to buy your flowers from you when you visit your front yard. If you agree, she will give you KinzCoins and take your flowers from your garden. If you don't want to sell your flowers, just say "no" when she asks.

How do I change the look of the outside of the house?

To change the look of the outside of your house, just click on the door or the house itself and then click the switch or buy button. You'll be able to buy new paint for the house.

Why did the season change?

Just like the real world, the seasons change in Webkinz World � you'll notice that the seasons change throughout the year.
